How do assistance credits work?

Because services cover a variety of tasks, credits are categorised by the query or task's workload:

  • Light Duty: Tasks that are generally quick to look into for example, would only be 1-2 credits.
  • Medium Duty: Tasks that need a bit more attention or back and forth, could be 3-10 credits.
  • Heavy Duty: For more intricate tasks, that are in-depth, more complex, or are straightforward but simply need more time, you may need 10 credits and upwards.

Credit Usage: Credits are deducted based on the workload of each request. Before proceeding, we can discuss how many credits your query may require and we can agree credits for specific and routine business needs.

Credit Allocation: Credits are allotted on a monthly basis and don't carry over to the next month. This is to ensure your assistance package is fulfillable & both time and resources are allocated fairly.

Important: Please note, because subscriptions are subject to limited availability, they may not be available to subscribe to, from time to time.

If this happens, you can however opt to be notified when they become available!

Examples of support services;

  • ensuring products are fit for their intended use
  • verifying product information & compliance assurance
  • identifying clash detection/design risks in specifications

2.   Issue Resolution & Representation

  • troubleshooting & diagnosing fitting issues, product faults & non-conformances
  • representation at meetings, on-site visits, an impartial opinion to resolve disputes

3.   Document Review & Assurance

  • ensuring accuracy and upholding quality standards for documentation such as inspection reports, door/ironmongery/master key schedules etc.
  • supporting marketing departments/PPC/SEO agencies with technical accuracy in content & set up review

4.    Material Development & Guidance

  • creating/revising training materials & manuals, CPD's etc.
  • delivering workshops/training to enhance competence
  • developing technical documentation & refining processes

5.   Auditing & Quality Management

  • routine quality assurance checks/audits
  • providing competent person sign-off i.e. schedule reviews, product information creation, review of design risk assessments, marketing collateral
  • clash detection/design risks in hardware sets/schedules

Why are there no credits assigned to these tasks?
This is to optimise value and fairness for you. For instance, trouble-shooting an issue could be relatively quick...but in some cases it may be more complex and even require a site visit...either way, you'll only be deducted credits according to the actual work involved and can agree before proceeding.
